First, make sure you are eligible.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents.
Applicants must be currently attending UConn (any regional campus) or a community college in the State of CT.
The ideal applicant does not need to be a nutrition science major, but must have a genuine interest in food and nutrition science and careers in the field. Good academic standing and grade point average will be considered. When submitting your Assay (Personal Statement) during the application, please explain your interest in food and nutrition and how this summer program may meet your educational and academic goals.
